Land Rover is preparing a cheap SUV

Land Rover is may issue a new small SUV that will compete with Nissan Juke and Opel Mokka. Chances are, apparently, this car will look like the concept of DC100 (pictured), but if the latest model at one time marketed as a "serious" off-roader, which will replace the Defender, the new model will be a typical crossover (that is, it is possible that there will be even the mono version of the drive - such machines will be cheaper).

It is assumed that the basis of a small Land Rover will be a platform of luxury Range Rover Evoque, which now uses disposable demand all over the world (it is a success and made Evoque Land Rover management to reflect on the issue of more affordable version of the compact crossover). However, engines with cheap Land Rover will be easier - most likely English limited to a 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 150 hp or 190 hp depending on the version, but the 240-horsepowerturbocharged petrol unit, they will refuse.
