Ford to revive Capri Coupe in 2014

Currently the European market from Ford's no sports sedan, as well as most competitors offer similar models. Someone may, of course, remember the "chargedFord Focus, but the problem is these machines is that they are outwardly very similar to the "normal” Focus, which is almost a "national" car. But more recently Ford could boast of such models as the Cougar or Puma...
But in 2014 the situation should change. According to the French publication L'Automobile Magazine, Ford intends to build on the platform Focus two-door coupe, which will be named Capri (the first machine with the same name appeared in the range of Ford in 1969, and the latter came off the assembly line in 1989).This car will be put in a new style Ford - he had already formed the basis of the model Fusion, which we will be sold as a Mondeo.

It is assumed that the basic version of the new Ford Capri will have four-cylinder engines with supercharging and front-wheel drive. But it is possible the emergence of all-wheel drive versions, the latter will be hybrid - rear-wheel drive will be there to provide electric motors.
